About The Track:

  • The first Grand Prix to be held here, was the first Grand Prix in F1's inaugural 1950 season!

  • The circuit has 2 DRS zones. The first is just before Turn 3. The second is between Turns 10 and 11. The circuit also has a speed trap as the drivers head towards Turn 15.

  • The race will have 52 laps of the 5.891km track.

  • The lap record was set by Max Verstappen in 2020 at 1:27.097.

  • The Becketts complex (Turn 10 to 14), comprising Maggots, Becketts, and Chapel corners, is one of the circuit's most exhilarating sections. It demands high-speed commitment and precision from the drivers.

  • One of the longest flat-out sections on the circuit is the Hanger Straight. This rapid straightaway provides an excellent overtaking opportunity, leading into the tight and technical Stowe corner.

  • The section between the Village and The Loop corners is referred to as the Farm Curves. This sequence of corners pays homage to the circuit's rural surroundings, with names like The Loop, Wellington Straight, and Luffield.
