So, what can I say, I saw and I bought! A few days ago I went out shopping with my family and saw a few items that I thought would be perfect for me so here goes nothing.

Let’s start with the pair of shoes that I purchased: Dunlop Canvas Low Profile Ladies Shoes

A couple of months ago I decided that I would ave up for a pair of Converse low tops or something similar, so when we walked into sports direct, I went searching for them and couldn’t find a pair of Converse that I liked, but then I saw these! These shoes are practically the same as the pair of Converse that I was saving up for, and with 70% off they are only £14.99 from £37.99. What a bargain; and they are so comfy!

So then, the makeup…

The first thing that i picked up was my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, which you can get at Boots  and Superdrug for £4.19. Now to say this concealer is this cheap, it is amazing!

To match my skin tone, I am the shade 2 aka Cool Medium out of the 3 shades. Now i know the shade range isn’t massive however, they have brought out the colour correcting versions of this concealer, so if you want to try the concealer but they don’t have the shade for you then you could try the colour correcting version.

The next item I bought was another refill for one of beloved makeup products, the No7 Lash and Brow Perfector (£8.50).

Now you guys know how much I love this stuff for setting your eyebrows into place, however I have tried it on my eyelashes and I must say that I hated it. I didn’t like the way it applied to my lashes because of the small applicator and the way the clear gel clumped up. YUKKK! I recommend only using it to set your eyebrows into place because it is amazing doing that and I love using it for that purpose. But as I say it’s each to their own.

The penultimate makeup item that I purchased was the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette which you can buy at either Boots or Superdrug for £9.99.

I always see people going on and on and on about Sleek and especially their highlighters, so I jumped onto the bandwagon and bought this palette. And WOW! This is definitely worth the hype! The colours are so highly pigmented and it lasts all day even through the heat and P.E. (especially athletics, don’t we all love the 1500m run)! These are extremely build-able as well so you can go for the subtle look, the noticeable look, the striking look, or the full blow whip your sunglasses out blinding look! 100% RECOMMEND!

The final  product that I bought was the Seventeen Skin WOW Concealer (£4.99)

I’ve seen this advertise a couple of times when it popped up on my Instagram (@Salonevella shameless little plug haha), no but seriously, it popped up on the advertisement section and I thought, I’ve never really seen anyone speak about this product but it looks really good so let’s give it a try. Therefore, when I walked into Boots, the first thing I did was head straight to the Seventeen counter and buy this product. I got the shade Fair and again there are only limited shades to choose from – 2 SHADES, Fair and Medium! I do think that the coverage isn’t as good as the Collection concealer, however because it is a brightening concealer, I feel like that compensates for it. Nevertheless, it is amazing, lasts really well and doesn’t go cakey which is the perfect all rounder!

This concludes this little haul, I hope you enjoyed reading and if you have any recommendations (beauty, skincare, fashion wise) then let me know in the comments so I can try them. But question of the day, what is your favourite drugstore/ highstreet product and what s your favourite highend product? If you don’t have any highend makeup let me know what you’re top two drugstore products are!
